Olweus 

Bullying Prevention Program

     Olweus is our school-wide anti-bullying program that focuses on educating students on bullying related events in order to eliminate bullying at the school setting and throughout the community. Each week classes meet to receive instruction on bullying related topics including building friendships, supporting one another, cyber bullying, bullying hot spots, steps to prevent bullying, etc. These class meetings occur across our district at various times throughout the week and are the cornerstone of our Olweus Program. A key component to our mission to decrease bullying incidents at our school are our our anti-bullying rules. These rules are discussed as part of class meetings and are posted in every class.We really feel that together we can help stop bullying in our school community.            

Olweus Anti-Bullying Rules    

We will not bully others.

We will try to help students who are bullied.

We will try to include students who are left out.

If we know that somebody is being bullied, we will tell an adult at school and an adult at home.
